What is a Podcast
many of you may know the answer to these question and if you do then there is no need for you to read any further, if you’re not sure then read on McDuff.
in its simplest form, all that a podcasts that you find here are nothing more than MP3 file that I have recorded and made available for you to download and listen to. This MP3 file is just like the MP3 file that you have on your computer. You don’t need an I-Pod or I-Tunes to listen to a podcast and it doesn’t cost you any money to listen to one of my podcast.
As I write this I am preparing to get hosting for my podcast (looking for a place on the internet that I can store them) So,once I have that all settled I will be able to give you more information on how to subscribe (still free) to the podcast so that you never have to worry about missing a program.
Wow JT, that sounds great, but how do I listen to your awesome podcast?
well that is a good question and I am glad you asked it. On each of the Episodes you will see the link to the MP3 file of the episode. the easiest thing you can do is just click on the link and your computer will start whatever computer program that it uses to play MP3 Files and it will begin to play the podcast. Now I said this was the easiest way but this isn’t the most convient way. You can also right-click on the link and choose to save the MP3 file to your computer. Once you do that it is just like any other MP3 file. You will be able to listen to it any other time, You can load it on to your MP3 player and take it with you or even (should I hope) burn it to a CD and pass it around with your friends.
