Laura Story Wins Dove Award

INO Records’ artist Laura Story won her first Dove Award for “Inspirational Album of the Year” at last night’s 40th Annual Dove Awards. The awards ceremony was held at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN and was broadcast LIVE on Gospel Music Channel.

Story received four Dove nominations this year: Female Vocalist, Inspirational Recorded Song “Great God Who Saves,” Inspirational Album and Praise & Worship Album. She was previously nominated in 2006 for the penning of “Indescribable” which was made famous by Chris Tomlin.

Story earned a No. 1 Soft AC/Inpso and Top 10 AC hit at Christian radio with “Mighty To Save”. Her current single, “Bless The Lord” is No. 6 at Soft AC/Inpso and New and Active on AC-Indicator this week.
