Poetry Slam Rules
Ok I have talked about having an all spoken word issue of my podcast, A special episode so to speak. so I wanted to let everyone know how you can get your poetry on the show.
Poetry Episode Rules
1. All poetry must be recorded in mp3 format 44k stereo 128 bit or higher title the mp3 file poemname_poetname.mp3 i.e. my poem “eyes speak” file would be called “eyes_speak_jt.mp3″
2. email Mp3 file to jtindiepodcast@gmail.com and put the term “poetry slam” in the email title.
3. Poem must begin with name of self and title of Poem
4. total poem (including introduction) must be under 3 1/2 min.
5. There can be NO music or sound effects. Voice effects and multitrack effects ok, but nothing that may cause copyright infringement.
6. Poems will NOT BE censored, however if I decide that there is simply to much vulgar language or if the poem is simply way to out there I will simply not play it. For those in the know, It will be a four(4) fluffy bunny podcast.
7. Get your poems to me by April 15th.Podcast will go online April 22nd.
